A global chemical manufacturer operating in over 50 countries came to GNX with a serious challenge. Their legacy MPLS setup was holding them back. With more than 140 sites — from factories, labs, warehouses, sales offices, and logistics hubs — it was about time to rethink their network strategy.

Step one was to build the core network between 8+ data centers across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. The high-capacity core serves as a foundation for a modern SD-WAN overlay and SSE of their choice. This segment enabled all customer employees [10k+] to have always-on local access to all their data, apps, and clouds, and be able to seamlessly switch workplaces and sites.

Next, GNX tackled the most critical 24/7 operational sites, where migration windows are scheduled once per quarter. From strict entrance regulations to security-accompanied local engineers, we coordinated it all. Progressively, GNX activated the rest of the global estate, working around the clock. In just one year, we migrated over 200 services — all with minimal disruption.
